Mr. Lohmeier is a co-founder of NCP, Inc., and has been here since its inception in 2001. Mr. Lohmeier specializes in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking / Mergers & Acquisitions, as well as overall business strategy of the firm.  From 1997 through 2000, Mr. Lohmeier was employed by a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Securities / Wachovia Securities Institutional Capital Markets Division (2nd largest bank in the US by assets, approx. $1 trillion) in their Chicago office as a senior equity research analyst specializing in financial and real estate securities. He has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry.  Prior to his employment in the financial field, Mr. Lohmeier held several positions in the road construction industry, culminating as a project quality control manager. Mr. Lohmeier holds an MBA (finance specialization) from the University of Iowa (Iowa City, IA) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and English (minor) from Simpson College (Indianola, IA). Mr. Lohmeier was awarded a CFA charter from the CFA Institute in the fall of 2000 and currently the President of the CFA Society of Iowa’s Board of Directors.  He serves on the Des Moines Rotary Club’s Board of Directors.  Mr. Lohmeier frequently lectures for both graduate and under-graduate business classes for the University of Iowa, Iowa State University and Simpson College on topics ranging from real estate finance to investment banking.

Leo Skeffington manages the Restructuring Advisory and Real Estate division of NCP Investment Banking. As head of the division, Mr. Skeffington manages commercial finance, global portfolio debt restructuring, and facilitates financing investments for commercial and development real estate projects across the U.S. Leo holds a Master’s degree from the University of Nebraska and is a PhD candidate with studies at the University of Miami, FL. He brings over a decade of experience in securitized and direct lending facilitation.  Leo currently sits on the Des Moines Metro Opera Board of Directors.  

Brett Peterson

Brett Peterson, an Associate since June of 2010, has been with NCP since 2007 serving in an Analyst role.  Brett assists in the firm’s Corporate Finance and Investment Banking / Mergers & Acquisitions divisions, as well as overall firm strategy and brings a half decade of experience in the financial industry.  Brett is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of South Dakota’s Beacom School of Business with a major in Finance.  He serves on the Des Moines Rotary Club A.M.’s Board of Directors.  Brett is a CFA Level III candidate.  

Pete Lehr

The newest addition to the NCP team, Pete Lehr, joined NCP as an analyst in 2010. Pete obtained his MBA in Corporate Finance and Investment Management from the University of Iowa’s Tippie School of Management and  graduated from Cornell College with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, both with honors. Pete is also a certified debt restructuring specialist with the world’s largest retail global trade organization.
